A stylish hotspot in Boston’s Downtown Crossing that serves fresh homemade pasta, Neapolitan wood-fired pizza and superb craft drinks.

Mast’ Restaurant and Drinkery is an authentic Southern Italian restaurant with a beautiful pizza oven that was imported from Naples. The environment, designed by HGTV’s Taniya Nayak, is dark with copper accents that appear inspired by the steampunk movement. I had the pleasure of sampling some items with Co-Owner and Executive Chef Marco Caputo who told me that the menu at Mast’ was ‘true southern Italian dishes’. Their pizza is cooked in in a 900-degree Neapolitan oven that was hand-crafted in Naples, but the real star in this sleek Italian Trattoria is the fresh pasta.
